In 2020 Fani Willis was asked why the people of Fulton County should support her for District Attorney. “Because they deserve a DA that won’t have sex with his employees, because they deserve a DA that won’t put money in their own pocket.” she replied.

The new testimony refuting Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s claims regarding her relationship with a colleague will have far-reaching effects. Nathan Wade was interviewed in court and his testimony did not corroborate Willis’s. Nathan Wade testified under oath that the lavish vacations he took with Fani Willis while hired to prosecute Trump on Fani’s Fulton County case were paid for using his business credit card, then reimbursed in cash by Willis.

Willis and Wade claim they did not have a personal, romantic relationship before Willis appointed Wade as a special prosecutor in the investigation concerning Trump’s efforts to challenge the 2020 election results in Georgia.

The problem is, a friend of Wade’s could corroborate that the relationship began before Willis assumed the role of the district attorney, contradicting claims made by Wade in an affidavit attached to Willis’s filing on February 2, wherein he asserted that the relationship did not begin before 2022. A former Fulton County DA employee and friend of Fani Willis since college says she was definitely in a relationship with Nathan Wade since 2019.

This completely contradicts the filings of Wade and Willis in which they claimed it began in 2022.

Giving false statements to the court is a crime and is punishable in Georgia by a $1,000 fine and up to five years of jail time.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee has said, “In studying the law that’s been filed up to this point, I think it’s clear that disqualification can occur if evidence is produced demonstrating an actual conflict or the appearance of one. And the filings submitted on this issue so far have presented a conflict in the evidence that can’t be resolved as a matter of law.”

Which means that if the vehemently anti-Trump Willis lied, she will be disqualified, which means her entire office is also disqualified, which means the case will have to be re-assigned. How this will impact the election fraud case Willis filed against the former president is as yet unknown but it will revert to the Georgia authorities.
